Kazui Ichigawa is a recently-deceased marine biologist who worked for Yoshida Medical Research before suddenly retiring, having reportedly made a "magnificent discovery". He died on the 28th of November, 2007.

Kazui Ichigawa's death was first announced on Tidowave.com, on the 28th of November, 2007, along with the deaths of his daughter, granddaughter and wife. The death was detailed in article given to Tidowave by their "friend in the field".
Tagruato Phone Answering Message
On November the 30th, 2007, the message played on Tagruato's automatic answering phone service was changed. The message said -
Thank you for calling Tagruato. All of our lines are currently busy. If you are calling regarding the Kazui Ichigawa memorial service, all seats have been filled, and registration is now closed. For all other concerns, please leave a message, and one of our representatives will find you as soon as possible.
Death
Few details are known about Kazui Ichigawa's death, particularly the role of Tagruato in said death. The majority of the details that are known are due to the disclosure of the events of Ichigawa's death on Tidowave.com. These details include -
- Ichigawa was found dead, along with the bodies of his wife, Rie Ichigawa, his daughter Norika, and his granddaughter Kyoko, in Daisetsu-San National Park, a popular RV camping area.
- Ichigawa was 63 at the time of his death.
- The preliminary report from the police announced that the cause of death was a gas explosion in his trailer.
- Inchigawa is survived by his son-in-law, Toshiro, who was "away on business at the time of the accident".
According to the Tidowave.com article, Ichigawa had made a "magnificent discovery" before his death. However, due to all of Ichigawa's computers and files going missing - even the ones in his personal safe - nobody knows what this discovery was.
Foul play is suspected in the death, but not confirmed.
